On February 6th, we welcomed for the 3rd year in a row, Madeira Startup Retreat’s partner SRS Advogados represented by Paulo Bandeira – Venture Capital Lawyer and Partner. An afternoon focused on the Investment Process in Startups.
As it is now a habit, the startups welcomed Paulo Bandeira with a Flash Pitch, after witch Paulo took over to talk about his work as the Manager of Startup Lab, an accelerator developed and powered by SRS-Advogados, as well as the Head of the Startups practice of the firm.
But mostly, Paulo talked about different topics like:
- Non-binding Agreement;
- Due Diligence;
- Investment and Shareholders Agreement;
- Share Capital;
- Phases of Investment.
In the end, startups had the chance to talk with the mentor one-on-one, making this a very important moment for our entrepreneurs to better understand the legal framework.
