On wednesday, February 18th, the usual working space shifted completely and the energy was of welcoming a diverse crowd for an afternoon dedicated to the future of technology.
The highlight of the day was undoubtedly the Peer-2-Peer Masterclass | AI / Tech Powered Experiences. This wasn’t just a standard workshop; it was a melting pot of ideas bringing together the 10 international startups from the Madeira Startup Retreat and the vibrant GDG (Google Developer Group) Madeira community.
We were thrilled to host over 50 participants, including more than 20 local developers, remote workers, and expats. It was a true testament to Madeira’s growing tech ecosystem.

Open Knowledge Sharing: Startups and locals engaged in raw, honest conversations about the challenges and triumphs of integrating AI into real-world products.

Tool Showcases: From productivity hacks to complex tech stacks, participants showcased the tools currently defining the “Tech Powered Experience.”

Networking with Purpose: Beyond the screens, the masterclass fostered connections between the visiting entrepreneurs and the people who call Madeira home.
We closed with new insights and potential collaborations. It was an afternoon that proved once again that when you combine international vision with local expertise, the results are powerful.
